Established in 1979 in memory of Our Chairman, the late Mrs. Fathima Basheer for Girl students with classes from I to XII Std.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” That bold step was taken by our late Chairperson, Mrs. Fathima Akhtar Saheba, who established Fathima Basheer Matriculation Higher Secondary School for Girls with the vision of empowering girls from the deprived sections of society, especially the Muslim minority. Inspired by the ideals of our Founder, the late Justice Basheer Ahmed Sahib, fondly remembered as the Sir Syed of the South, the school continues to uphold their noble mission of uplifting the community through education.

Her relentless commitment helps us unlock our potential, embrace the light of knowledge, and shape our futures with confidence. The school functions in a multi-block structure with Block A housing the Correspondent and Principal’s offices, along with classrooms for senior students. Other blocks include classrooms and fully equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science laboratories. Smart Classrooms from Std I to VIII enhance digital learning, while CCTV cameras at all gateways ensure safety. The campus is periodically upgraded with modern facilities to meet the needs of the time.
