The Southern India Education Trust has been honored by the presence and support of some of the most distinguished leaders of our nation and beyond. From Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, President Dr. Rajendra Prasad, President Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, and Vice President Dr. Zakir Hussain, to Chief Ministers K. Kamaraj, C. N. Annadurai, Mr. Bhakthavatsalam, and Mr. V. Shukla, each milestone of the Trust has been witnessed by leaders of great stature.

Equally memorable are the moments shared with global dignitaries such as H. E. Gamal Abdul Nasser, President of the United Arab Republic, H. H. King Hussein of Jordan, Alfazan, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia, Ambassador of Kuwait H.E. Yacoob Abdul Azeez Al Rashid, and other international representatives who graced the Trust’s landmark occasions.

The Trust’s journey has also been closely associated with eminent statesmen and intellectuals including Sri Prakasa, Governor of Madras, Dr. Raja Sir Muthiah Chettiar, Dr. A. L. Mudaliar, Mr. C. Subramaniam, Mr. Karan Singh, Mr. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed, Mr. Jagjivan Ram, Mr. G. D. Naidu, and Mr. H. E. Mohnlal Sukhadia. Judges such as Justice T. L. Venkatarama Iyer and members of the Bar Council and Madras High Court also stood alongside the Founder at key junctures.
